The current news in the market is that Xiaomi will be coming with MT6595 some time between June and July 2014. They are also working diligently towards releasing a MT6732 64-bit model by the end of September 2014.
MT6595 will have the MT6290 modem, which by default supports TD / FDD-LTE 4G, WCDMA and GSM. The future MTK SoC will also support 2K LCD and 2K/4K playback.
The MT6732 is a 64-bit SoC from MediaTek which features ARM Cortex-A53 in combination with Mali-T760 and was showcased at MWC Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. MediaTek also has a higher-end 64-bit solution dubbed MT6752.
