1. UMi X1 — With its slim profile, it can’t fit a large battery, but luckily these days a second battery is about as cheap as a movie and popcorn. The UMi X1 sports Japanese tempered glass protection, 1GB RAM, 2MP front camera and 1280*720 – it doesn’t get any better at this price point. It doesn’t hurt that the UMi X1 is a great looker too. Unfortunately, those of us outside are paying a big premium. Inside China these are selling for 888 yuan ($142), while international retailers are selling them for $215 shipped.
2. THL W3+ (Plus) — THL has been taking the China phone world by storm – wasting no time in releasing new models and upgrading to MTK MT6577 / MTK6577. The THL W3+ features 1280*720 HD IPS LCD, 1GB RAM, 3.2MP front camera, and comes with TWO 2000mA batteries. Excellent choice for a $220 phone. Continue Reading
