HomTom HT70 review of specs

One spot China brand mobiles have above main brand mobiles is battery size. HomTom brings big batteries to a new level with a 10,000mAh battery in the HomTom HT70.

In this price range of $150-199, unless there’s something special to make it stand out, it’s difficult to recommend an MT6750T phone. This SoC is not a bad SoC, but there are phones in this price range that carry the very efficient MT6763.

MediaTek really outdid themselves with the MT6763 Helio P27; it features literally double the battery life of P20/25 and MT6750T. So, you will end up with the similar, or even better, battery life out of 6000mAh Oukitel K6, Vernee X, and Ulefone Power 3S, than out of 10,000mAh HT70.

This is really a catch-22, because if HomTom had gone with MT6763 in HT70 and kept the 10,000mAh, we’d likely be looking an increase in price of $50 or so.

Additionally, HT70 only has a 720P display; another downer in a mobile at this price. Not a huge deal, but HomTom certainly hasn’t gone out of their way to give us any sort of bang for the buck.

It’s not all bad news though, 10,000mAh is still a massive battery and will give you great battery life regardless of SoC. It also has some eye-catching unique styling.

Homtom Ht70 is very heavy and performance is not up to mark. Homtom highlighted too many things but the performance of the device weaker than my Nomu M6. Nomu is introducing good looking and record maker rugged phones. don’t waste money.

It is the same with Computers! When there is a new processor introduced by Intel/AMD everybody will clamour for the latest, the newest, the best performer based on the performance index. But reality is that you are wasting your money. You know money?Every dollar counts. Unless you are a billionaire and then any China models dont make the grades. What are you gonna do all day on your phone? As if you are not earning a salary i.e meaning that you should be spending time looking at your desk or out doing your assignments?Which leaves you answering calls or doing a web search on your browser looking for info on THE phone!
I dont play games anywhere on my gadgets neither PC nor Tablets nor handphone. At this price level which I can afford with its novelty design, I think I will attract a crowd just talking about the design all day long.
