In this price range of $150-199, unless there’s something special to make it stand out, it’s difficult to recommend an MT6750T phone. This SoC is not a bad SoC, but there are phones in this price range that carry the very efficient MT6763.
MediaTek really outdid themselves with the MT6763 Helio P27; it features literally double the battery life of P20/25 and MT6750T. So, you will end up with the similar, or even better, battery life out of 6000mAh Oukitel K6, Vernee X, and Ulefone Power 3S, than out of 10,000mAh HT70.
This is really a catch-22, because if HomTom had gone with MT6763 in HT70 and kept the 10,000mAh, we’d likely be looking an increase in price of $50 or so.
Additionally, HT70 only has a 720P display; another downer in a mobile at this price. Not a huge deal, but HomTom certainly hasn’t gone out of their way to give us any sort of bang for the buck.
It’s not all bad news though, 10,000mAh is still a massive battery and will give you great battery life regardless of SoC. It also has some eye-catching unique styling.
