root-mtk6589tIt’s been a couple months, but a new version of the Graphical Easy Root has been released. This should include many of the newer MTK6589T phones, and older MTK6589 and MTK6577 phones, that weren’t in the previous versions. Great to see a new version of this tool come out, as it’s one of the easier ones to use and carries support for many many phones. If you already know what you’re doing, head on over to chinaphonearena.com and download it from the Graphical Easy Root thread in the Root Tools sub-forum. If you require some basic instruction, see the full install instructions here.

NOTE: We now have an updated thread on how to create TWRP custom recovery for the newer SoC China phones such as MT6735 MT6753, MT6755. This method does not require root. Please see the thread linked here.

    Hay I have phone mtk 6589 and I want that rooten how should I do that because I don’t get any google play always error so I will raise him thanks

    Can someone explain why we are required to purchase what is essentially a “Tiny Computer with a Modem” w/o the Root/Administrator Password. If you purchase your Smartphone outright, (not rent-to-own as in a contract) your password is provided to you psyasugo or contract mobile network provider. The provider and their many employees now have control of what has become the single most important possession in our lives: our mobile computer AKA Smartphone or Phablet. Does this seem problematic to you or anyone else.

    sir i have oplus 8.3 then i was successfully rooted but i have to flash cwm then sp flashtool got error…3038, 4045, etc..

    will u help me.. tnx..
