New MTK Droid Tools Released! Compatible With MT6592!

mtk-droid-toolsThe newest version of MTK Droid Tools has just been released. Now with compatibility for MT6592, as well as MT6582, MT6589, MT6589T, MT6577, MT6575, MT6572 and all other MTK based SoC.

For phones with MT6582, MTK Droid Tools 2.5.3 will spit out 2 different scatter files. In my own experience, the original style often created SP Flash Tool errors, whereas the new type fared better.

Hi Manuel, it will depend what you want to do. It should still be compatible for many things.

    Hi! Thanks for the reply.
I only need to solve any future problem, a system recovery or a rom backup are important.:)
I don´t have any “know how” in android developement, only as a android user.
My first android was huawei x3, second a s4 clone broke screen and back camera and recently
I bought an elephone p6000, i will receive it tomorrow.

Hi Damian, I just received an Ulefone Be Pro and went to create a scatter file in MTK Droid Tool so I could do a read back in SP Flash Tool however MTK Droid Tool throws up an error like unrecognised partition format and the create scatter button is greyed out. Do you happen to know if the developers of this utility will update it to support the 64bit chipsets? Thanks
