THL T11 Review responsiveness and ROM stability
The THL T11 ROM was stable. We did experience a couple of interesting lockups in Gmail and once extreme keyboard lag in Evernote. But the three separate occasions seemed a one off (or a two off in the case of Gmail). The likelihood here is that the two apps were still ‘warming up’ so to speak. Doing their initial syncs to the cloud. Over 3 days, this issue happened perhaps 3 times (once with Evernote and twice with Gmail), and the last day we’ve not experienced it at all. Relatively minor, but bears mentioning and we will test it further to see if it happens over the long haul.
Beyond the hiccups
Otherwise the T11 performed flawlessly. The responsiveness of the system overall is excellent. Navigating up and down and side to side was no problem. Screen sensitivity is excellent and there areĀ was no hyper sensitivity issues as with the ZP980+. Sliding words with Google Keyboard went without a hitch.
Battery life
Battery test points to consider:
- Both SIMs were on and active
- WiFi was active the entire time
- LCD brightness set to auto
- Time spent with the phone was 99% indoors
- Activity was 98% web-browsing and ‘flipping’ around in the phone
We have yet to fully conclude our battery life tests, however we wanted to post this now for those who may be considering the phone. The battery does appear to be true 2750mA. Our initial results are excellent. Achieving a whopping 4.5 hours on screen at the 50% mark with a total of 13 hours on. This indicates at least 8 hours of onscreen use.
We will report a ‘full run’ as soon as we’re able. Stay tuned in the forum for the full run GSAM report.
