Excellent news! – Zopo zp100 and Zopo zp200 to get mtk6577!

If you were with us a few days ago, you saw that Zopo zp300 and Zopo zp500 were upgraded to “plus” models with the mtk mt6577 / mtk6577.  They’ve done it again with the Zopo zp100 Pilot and Zopo zp200 Shining.

Leave it to Zopo to be on the ball! While UMi x1 and JaiYu g3 continue to fiddle around, Zopo pulls a fast one and not only comes out with the Zopo zp900, they’ve upgraded their entire lineup of phones!

As many of you already know, Zopo phones are known for their great photo quality, as well as the superior Sharp ASV tech LCDs in the Zopo zp100 and Zopo zp200.

The Zopo zp100+ sports a 960×540 ASV Sharp LCD, but as far as we know will continue to have 512Mb.

This is great news.  As I was just saying in my last post, the actual number of models available with mtk mt6577 / mtk6577 is slim pickings and Zopo just widened the field a bit.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see these shipping out to customers within a week.

Hi. I am tossing up between the ZP200(dual core) and the ZP300+ and wondering if I want the HDMI or the high res screen. In your opinion what is the best dual sim available today? Thanks

It’s hard decision Snorlax. If the decision really is just between HDMI, or the 720p, I’d go with the 720p IF YOU WATCH MOVIES on your mobile. You can always put your mini-sd in an adapter and plug that into your TV if you want to view your SD content on TV. If you’re not interested in watching 720p movies on your phone, go with the zp200+.

If you don’t mind 512mb, the zp500+ is a good choice @ around $200. Also, the little talked about Lenovo a789 is only $160…Nearly half the price of the zp300+. I really like the looks of the Lenovo a789 as well.

And there’s the Oppo Finder. But it’s running $450 currently. IMO, not worth it.

Thanks. I love the Oppo’s looks but I don’t think they are going to be dual sim. I am thinking the ZP300+ as you can never get a sharp enough screen. I just need to shell out the bucks. I was going to buy through Etowalk instead of the Zopomobileshop as you can buy maps and they put on Copilot nav software. I have since found out you can get a previous version of Copilot free on the play store with maps but no voice direction unless you buy the full version, $36. I may order today. Thanks again.

Yes, I don’t think you can go wrong with the Zopo 300+. I wouldn’t worry too much about software. There are plenty of alternatives out there. $36 is too steep. I’ve shot you an email with some suggestions.
