Amazing collection,some of the events I didn’t even know were recorded by camera.
However, the last image, Sydney fireworks, says (2000); that was the last year of the 20th century and so would be part of the previous millennium, the 2nd. The third millennium began on 01/01/2001.

Re fireworks, Apparently Sydney thought it was the new millennium. Could be that the year was recorded incorrectly as well. I mean to say, perhaps this image is from 2000 into 2001, not 1999 into 2000.
