I really like the looks and specs of the UMi X1, and from what I understand, 20,000 more units will be released to the public on September 28th. Hopefully some of these will find their way to the retailers supplying the “outside world”. -END POST- Photo Gallery / Specs

Hi, you are really some one who is very inclined towards the UMI rather than the Jiayu G3, that most people praise and i am actually tilted towards that as well. So i am wondering if you have any idea on where i can get one for me? I mean you got any suggestions for a store which ships internationally with a decent shipping rate? It is said that UMI x1 is still priced at 888 Yuans and thats some impressive pricing, so i am guessing i could be cheaper than the Jiayu G3.
Looking to your response.

I like the looks of both these phones. The JiaYu / JaiYu g3 is more original looking with it’s brushed metal, but the UMi X1 is slick looking with the textured back and is significantly thinner. It really depends on your taste because these are 2 very different looking phones.
If I must choose, it’s the JiaYu G3 with it’s Gorilla Glass and significantly larger battery (1000mA difference!). Regarding a shop, I’ve heard good things about Pandawill, but don’t have personal experience with them. Most of the Aliexpress shops are fine to deal with also. Look at their feedbacks, and specifically at feedbacks that mention how the shop handled problems when they arose.
This biggest issue is that neither of these phones is available right now. The UMi X at least is scheduled to release 20k units this month, but likely those will get snatched up very quick. As I said, hopefully some by retailers. The JiaYu g3…Is anyone’s guess unfortunately as to when it will come out.
Regarding cost, with the phones being so relatively inexpensive already, I wouldn’t worry about $20/$30 here or there when deciding which phone you want. Cheers, Prasath.
