Oukitel, the brand that blasted onto the scene just a scant couple of months ago, isn’t sitting around on their heels. They’ve taken the recently released Oukitel U7, refreshed it and dubbed it the Oukitel U7 pro.

The Oukitel U7 was already at an excellent price point, even when considering the specs, but the newer Oukitel U7 Pro setup is a nice upgrade.

There are a couple of nice changes with the move to Oukitel U7 vs Oukitel U7 Pro. Oukitel has upped the resolution from 540p to 720p, added 1900MHz WCDMA, upgraded the OS to 5.1 and switched the SoC to MT6580. The MT6580 claims a 30% improvement in battery use when compared to its predecessor MT6582.
1GB RAM is plenty to run Android smoothly, and the upgrade to Android 5.1 should satisfy users who like to have the most up to date OS.
We also see that the Oukitel U7 Pro supports dual-SIM and is TF SD expandable.
On top of the upgraded specs, Oukitel has managed to keep the U7 at an excellent price point.
