On October 20th at 14:00, 5000 Newman N1’s will go on sale. They will be shipped 7 days after ordering.
To me this seems a paltry number of units. It’s a bit odd, though not surprising, that the N2 is soon to be released and they haven’t even been able to meet the demand for the N1.
The smallish battery is a downside with the Newman N1, but the 1GB of RAM and 960*540 IPS LCD make this phone desirable, and is at the top of the GizBeat short list.
