One of the most important aspects of choosing a phone, for some people, is getting a model that takes decent shots. Today we bring you similar shots from 3 recent popular phones. The MT6582 iNew v3, the MT6592 ZP980+ and the MT6592 H9008 / Mlais MX69T Pro.

Unfortunately had a bit of a blip with size, the ZP980+ were taken 4mp (no 5mp setting), the H9008 at 3mp, the iNew v3 at 5mp. We will try to make up for this with picture war part 2 tomorrow. Here the shots are exported to 600 pixel width. No editing other than size was done to these photos.

  I was really surprised at how well the iNew v3 held up against the H9008 and ZP980+. The pictures are generally quite pleasing. Download the full package and let me know what you think. I believe the ZP980+ captured the most long range detail. It can be seen in the far away trees in picture 1.

I have the Lenovo Super Camera App , and for me it makes much better Photos than the stock Camera App of the V3 !

can you compare with the max. real resolution of the cameras? (eg inew V3 13mp)
also, how does zp998 compare?

  We don’t currently have a zp998 to compare. ‘real’ resolution is not always easy to know, this is why we shoot at 5mp. 3-5mp is normally big enough to get a decent idea of quality.

Picture one of the front of the motorcycle is very telling as the Inew V3 one looks more natural especially the indicators which look more like they should(orange not red)

Could you please comment which phone amongst the three has the best camera as per your judgement? Frankly for me I am struggling to decide between V3 and 980+.

  Between those two, I’d go with the ZP980+ in regards to camera quality. But actually I wouldn’t choose the ZP980+ as a phone. Unless they’ve ironed out the bugs in firmware updates. Why are the pictures so small? Hard to judge. The ZP980+ seems to give the best colours. But it looses a lot of details during compression. The iNew has got a tend to green (which can be easyly removed in post). The best overall to me seems the H9008
