The THL T11 is an MT6592, 720p, 2GB RAM/16GB ROM mobile.
Some of the things we’ll cover in the THL T11 review – LCD, GPS, WiFi, general build, external speaker, mic, earphones, earpiece, battery, Antutu, NenaMark, camera and summary conclusion. If you want something specific checked out, please inform in the comments, or at the forum.
If you’ve been following Gizbeat for awhile, you’ve no doubt heard the whinings regarding China brands lacking 1900. The day has finally arrived. The THL T11 has 1900 WCDMA.
The THL T11 is an awesome looking, square, big battery phone with NFC, OTG and is compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile networks, as well as 2100 for coverage in Asia, UK and pretty much anywhere else in the world.
Accessories
The earphones had a ribbon style cable as opposed to your standard skimpy round style. We liked that. It adds an extra slight element of class to the package. With standard thin round cable, there’s always the feeling the cord will easily break. Not so with the ribbon style.
A hard plastic case for the back was included. It’s matte and resists finger prints. In an excellent decision the hard case is not opaque like the THL W200S hard case. This case is a very deep green. It’s so deep that you may do a double take and consider whether you’re seeing green or black.
Also included is a colorized quick start guide. THL includes one of the nicest manuals I’ve seen from a China phone. All pictures are colorized and of magazine style paper as opposed to your standard flat newspaper style. I’m not sure if people actual read these, but THL’s version definitely adds an element of class to the package.
Outside the Phone
What a phenomenal looking phone. You can tell thought went into every aspect. The buttons instead of being coated, are textured plastic in a centrifugal design. They offer a distinct feel to the fingertips. The THL T11 has a super square portrait and sides that angle into the back.
The back is matte and easily shuns finger prints.
We don’t really like the ‘Technology Happy Life’ printed on the back. It’s somewhat corny and strange. Not a big deal, but would like to see it gone.
The buttons click firmly when pressed.
Inside the Phone
The big news here is that the battery is 2750mA. Huge news, and we are expecting to get at least 6 hours onscreen. Possibly 7-8 with a battery this size in a 5.0″ LCD mobile.
Also a pleasant surprise was the confirmation of NFC.
The SIMs are one standard and one micro slot. There is a separate IMEI for each SIM.
Unboxing Summary
Huge props to THL for this phone. Not only in the looks and design department, which are exceptional, but the entire specification package which includes a 2750mA battery, OTG, NFC, 850/1900/2100 WCDMA. All from a well known China brand – THL who we know makes some of the best China phones out there.
Looking forward to getting this one tested out.
