$10,000 Vertu Signature Touch Review Specifications

Soon to hit the market is the Vertu Signature Touch, a $10,800 Android smartphone.

The Vertu touch has a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 SoC, 4.7″@1080p display, 2GB RAM, 13mp rear camera and 64GB ROM storage. All top notch specs, but you would think at nearly 11k they would have found a way to afford 3GB RAM in this guy.  vertu-signature-touch-review-1

The look of the phone is decidedly 1980’s, and I keep wondering if possibly the phone is so expensive because it has the ability to transform into a Decepticon in addition to being able to make phone calls and play Angry Birds.

Each Vertu Signature Touch is handmade in England, and justifies the $10.8k purchase by including titanium alloy sides and coming with a back piece which curves around to the front cased in calf leather, lizard skin, or alligator skin.vertu-signature-touch-review

There is also a genuine ruby button which can be used to bring up “Vertu Life” services. Just owning the phone and having the Vertu Life services gives you exclusive access to the latest exclusive rich and famous events, private clubs and sporting events by RSVP.

The Vertu Signature Touch also promises “State-of-the-art” communication encryption from Silent Circle.

Included with the phone is top-end 24/7 tech support should you have an issue. Perhaps you have flashed an incorrect CWM on your Vertu and need immediate tech support when it ends up hard-bricked.
