Just when you thought it was safe to buy a JiaYu / JaiYu. The Kai Excursion T1 presales are scheduled to start towards the end of September. All the goodies are here in the Kai Excursion T1. This smartphone will have mtk mt6577 / mtk6577 with 1gb RAM, 8mp, and the excellent Sharp ASV LCD. The ROM will come in 8gb, 16gb, and 32gb options.

The projector is 18 lumens with a resolution of 640*480. The size of the projection in the video looks to be about 20-25″. At 12.5mm thick because of the lense, it’s a bit of a monster, but still a drool worthy feature for the Giz lover in all of us.

    I want to know battery size of this along with a price tag and availability points. Also if they can push it to 480p then a good software and Jellybean update should achieve 720p.

    480p is just pointless. Atleast in my books

    Yes, will update when the info becomes available. Max, 720p would be nice, but let’s be realistic as well. Most China phones LCDs aren’t even 720p, let alone a projector inside a 12mm phone…We can always hope though! Perhaps the 2nd generation of “Android projector” smartphones will give us some yummy 720p.

    Well Almost agree with you. And also want to mention that i find the projection colors very bright and vivid. Hope they pack some decent battery in it. And not some lousy 1500mAh one.
