iNew Updates ROM Within First 2 Weeks of Release

There has been a new iNew V8 official ROM released. This ROM fixes the toast notification bug that popped up when switching between E, H and H+ data modes. Other bugs may have been fixed.

Excellent iNew fixed this relatively quickly and got the new firmware in the newer batches of iNew V8. 2014091218413500

To see if you have the newest firmware from homescreen:

  • Tap menu button
  • Tap settings/system settings
  • Scroll down to the bottom and tap “About phone”
  • See date under “Build number” heading. 20140805 is the newer ROM.
