    For many users one of the most frustrating things about Chinese phones from Xiaomi and Miuzu and other Chinese brands catering mostly to the China market is that they don’t support dynamic notifications. We echo this sentiment, and while Xiaomi etc… have gone to great lengths to make what they feel is a more functional Android, lack of interactive notifications is a huge gap between AOSP (vanilla) Android and OS such as MIUI.     Android N may get Indian dessert name

    “What will Google name the next Android version?”, one of the biggest questions of the year in the mobile world as we all know has traditionally been the name of a desert or snack.

    With ‘N’, we have a couple of possibilities including Nutella and Nougat. According to Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, he will be asking his mom for advice on this one, or it may go to the fans for a vote.

    Sundar being of Indian descent may have us seeing an Indian dessert name, especially as he may be giving sway towards his mother’s vote, a sweet son indeed. Some Indian dessert possibilities are Narikol Laru, Narali Bhaat, Neyyapam, Nan Khatai, and Narkeler Naru.

    We won’t know for at least several more months. Nutella is the strong betting favorite at the moment, but perhaps it’s time for Android to put a little culture into the name, especially since we see huge support of Android coming from India.
