The Mstar M1 Pro is looking exactly like the previously reviewed Mlais M4. This is one of the heavier phones I’ve reviewed with a very solid metal frame and some fair bit of heft to it. Cubot X15 preview 2GB MT6735A 1080p
Cubot has been around for a couple of years, generally producing quite decent phones. Indeed, we rarely hear of complaints regarding Cubot models.
Regarding the name of the brand, I really like “Cubot”. It’s short, simple and you know how to say it. It’s got a nice, modern ring to it, and in terms of marketing towards Westerners, speaking strictly in regards to ambiance of the name itself, makes it worlds beyond names such as Xiaomi, HomTom, Gionee, Jiayu and the like.
