While not so many manufacturers are utilizing MT6595 yet, Lenovo is taking the opportunity to release one of their own models employing this chipset series. The X2 is expected to be released on September 5th.

Lenovo will be releasing an update to the Lenovo Vibe Z. The official announcement of the new Lenovo Vibe Z2 (K920) is set for August 5th. The K920 has been leaked quite a few times by Lenovo themselves, even showcased at a mobile expo once.
While the Lenovo Vibe Z costs more than most of the phones we review here, it is worth mentioning that at around $400 this phone is still far cheaper than most of it’s Snapdragon counterparts. Lenovo have designed a slim yet solid device with a 5.5 inch 1080p screen and a Snapdragon 800 processor but ditched the big price tag. (more…)
