Amoi Big V / N820 To Release 100,000 Units!
Another big day for Amoi with their popular MTK MT6577 / MTK6577 smartphone. They recently updated to IPS and have Jelly Bean in the cooker, and sold 30,000 units in 15 minutes a little over a month back.
Now, to further dampen competitors efforts, on October 31st Amoi will release 100,000 Amoi N820 / Big V units.
A relatively huge number compared to the 10,000 here and there from UMi X1, 5000 JiaYu G3 here and there, and the occasional 5000 Newman N1.
In addition to black, orange and white there will be an additional chick / youth color being released called “mango yellow”.
Though I do like some of Lenovo’s recent offerings with bright colors, as they combine them with great textures and a sporty, mature look, I’m not such a big fan of the in your face bright colors of the simple, yet attractive style of the Amoi N820 / Big V.
Still, with black and white colors available, and some bright options for the chicks and kids, along with the IPS LCD and 1GB RAM, the Amoi Big V / N820 slots in on the top 5 GizBeat short list.
