Vernee Apollo 2 will have AMOLED and Helio X30 MT6799

Vernee, who has only been around for about a year has made quite a splash with the few models they’ve released.

One of these phones was the Vernee Apollo Lite, which we reviewed Q3 2016 and was found to be a good phone.

Now there’s official news of a new Apollo release, the Vernee Apollo 2 with MTK MediaTek MTK6799 Helio X30. Interestingly, Helio X30 is manufactured using 10nm process.

When is Vernee Apollo 2 release date

According to reports, the Vernee Apollo 2 will be released officially at MWC in Barcelona, Spain 27 FEB – 03 MAR 2017, which means we should also begin to see quite a few models released with MT6799 Helio X30 around that time as well.

Apollo 2 has an AMOLED display

Perhaps one of the most intriguing aspects of the Apollo 2 is that it will carry an AMOLED display. While normally we wouldn’t recommend a Vernee based mobile over the excellent value that Xiaomi brings, the AMOLED display and extremely powerful Helio X30 could be enough to justify the purchase.
