There is a new Qualcomm SoC coming with 14nm architecture. Snapdragon 435 vs Snapdragon 450.
The current top of the line 400 series is Snapdragon 435, but Qualcomm will soon be releasing Snapdragon 450 to replace the 435.
The Snapdragon 435 SoC is also known as MSM8940 and is used in phones such as ZTE Nubia M2 Play, Xiaomi Redmi 4X, Huawei Y7, and Oppo A57. It’s generally known as a budget CPU; powerful enough to be decent, but might fall short of the mark for power users.

Snap 435 carries the Adreno 505 GPU and 8-core [email protected]. It’s rumored that the Snapdragon 450 will most likely also carry 8-core Cortex-A53, but at a higher clock. It will also likely carry the same GPU at a higher clock.
What really sets the Snapdragon 450 apart from previous gen Snapdragon 435 is the architecture; while 435 uses an older 28nm design, the new Snapdragon 450 is rumored to be using 14nm architecture. What this means for us is significantly better battery life and power efficiency. This also equates to less heat, which in turn allows higher stable clock speeds.
