Mlais To Release Budget MTK6582 $130 Phone! The Mlais MX28!
We recently made a preview of the Mlais MX69 Pro – an MT6592 8-core phone. Now they’ve announced a budget phone – Mlais MX28. Sooner or later Mlais was bound to jump on the MTK6582 bandwagon and we think it’s a great decision.
There have been false reports regarding the phone being sold for $81. This is the sale pre-release price sold only to a very limited number of customers. The real price of the phone is 799 yuan ($130USD)
The Mlais MX28 will have standard, but very nice for the price specifications:
- 1GB RAM
- 4GB ROM
- Slim 7.9mm profile
- 2500mA battery
- IPS 540p LCD
- 8mp rear camera
- 2mp front camera
Looking forward to the release of the Mlais MX28. Please see the full preview at Chinaphonecompare.

Yes the new era of Mediatek’s budget octa core are about to pouring in the end of this year. Not to mention some new quad core and dual core SoC are about to replace the old MT6577 line production. But something has taking over my attention that many up coming models built by china manufactured are running on Android 4.2! While Android 4.4 adoption may take sometime by big names manufacturers, the Android 4.3 presence among china’s smartphone product are none! Can you mention one china brand smartphone that adopted Android 4.3? I’m a bit surprised with the very slow adoption on Android 4.3. It’s was a different story with the migration from 4.0 to 4.1 later 4.2. It was so quick that the adoption only take months. So any thoughts about why with the up coming more advance processors the operating system on it seem stuck on 4.2?
