MT6592 Zopo ZP980+ Review Specifications!
Though recently we’ve seen a lot of people complaining about Zopo. I think they put out a very nice phone.
A popular model from last year was the Zopo ZP980. Now to be put out in 2014 as the Zopo ZP980+ with 8-Core MT6592 SoC.
The specs on the MTK6592 Zopo ZP980+ for the price are looking very good. Octa-Core CPU, Gorilla Glass, OTG, 1GB RAM and 16GB ROM storage. The rear camera is reported to be a true 14mp and the front will be 5mp.
The LCD will be 5.0″@1080p. I really think 5.0 hits the sweet spot size wise, but we would liked to have seen Zopo ZP980+ with 720p as opposed to 1080p. Mali-450 MP4 would positively blaze on a 720p LCD, and battery life would significantly benefit as well, but in the world of the average electronics consumer – bigger = better, and the fact is that 1080p sells more units.
Regardless, this is looking to be a very promising phone spec wise for the price. Americans should be pleased as well since it has 850MHz WCDMA which will give it some 3G coverage. Anyone considering an MTK6592 8-Core should take a hard look at ZP980+. We are looking towards having a real MT6592 Zopo ZP980+ review coming up within the next few days.
