Though we recently reported it is unlikely Meizu will use MT6595 in their upcoming Meizu MX4, some China analysts are predicting otherwise.

Insider Pan Jiutang has reported that Meizu will use MTK6595 in a low-version of the Meizu MX4 to be released in August, with a high-version Mx4 to be released with a Samsung SoC in Q4.meizu-mx4-review-mt6595

This is somewhat in line with the rumors that the MX4 will be released in several different versions, but at the time of my first post on the upcoming MX4, the possibility of MT6595 being in one of the MX4 versions seemed far fetched. Time wise also, the prediction makes sense as the MX4 is scheduled for a Q3 release which is within the same time frame as MT6595.

A month or so more should tell the tale.
