JiaYu g3 mtk6577 release date confirmed!

Well, just as I was finishing up the previous JiaYu g3 article, the news came through that the JiaYu g3 will be released on September 5th!  Only 2 days away from the time of this posting.

So you will be able to purchase the JiaYu g3 officially on September 5th, but there seems a slight hitch.  We can’t 100% confirm this, but it LOOKS like the accessories will be purchased in addition to the phone.  The prices listed are:

• Phone: 899 yuan
• 2750mA battery: 70 yuan
• Charger: 20 yuan
• Charger + Battery set: 80 yuan
• Ultra-thin protective shell: 15 yuan
• Silicon sleeve: 10 yuan

Before you get your panties in a bunch, this could be a good thing.  Some people may not need the charger if they’ve already got a mini-usb charger.  Others may not be interested in the silicon sleeve or protective shell.  So this keeps the cost of the actual phone down.  They could of just as easily said 1100 yuan for the whole shebang, like it or not!  But no, they’ve given those in China, or at least, the people ordering through the official website, the option to pick and choose as you need.
