Doogee has been around for a couple of years and all phones I’ve reviewed from them have come recommended. They’ve recently been selling officially in UK and Europe and have come out with a rash of extreme budget models, as well as mega-battery phones.

2015-12-14 20_48_10-HOMTOM HT7 Flash Sale - Everbuying

Up for preview today is the Doogee Homtom HT7. Priced so low, its nearly disposable.

Doogee Homtom HT7 review specs/specifications

  • GPU- Mali-400
  • OS: Android 5.1
  • RAM: 1GB
  • ROM storage: 8GB
  • Display: IPS 5.5″@720P
  • TF SD expandable: Yes

  • Battery: 3000mAh
  • 2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz
  • 3G: WCDMA 850/1900/2100MHz

The big news here is that Doogee has made an awesome decision and included WCDMA 3G 850/1900, which makes it a great budget choice for the N/C/S Americas. 2100 is also included which makes it compatible with the rest of the world excepting some areas in Euro.

The Doogee Homtom HT7 carries the capable MT6580. This SoC is a MediaTek budget SoC, perhaps the most inexpensive in their lineup, but don’t be fooled; it runs Android very smoothly. For such a well-priced mobile, you simply couldn’t ask for more.

The thing that stands out most regarding the HT7 is the 3000mAh battery, which when coupled with a 720P display (as opposed to 1080P), should give beyond enough juice to get light and moderate, and probably heavy users through the day.

As mentioned above, the HT7 comes with a 720P display. I think this is a smart choice; it allows the manufacturer to keep prices down, gives significantly better battery life, and still offers enough resolution for a pleasant use experience.

Everbuying is selling 10 a day for $39.99, however, if you don’t happen to catch it at this price, the $59.99 remains an incredible bargain.

If you’re looking for an extreme budget mobile, or indeed are in the market for a new mobile at all, and your carrier supports the above mentioned frequencies, consider the Doogee HT7.
