Though he included ‘MT6592’ in the mix, I’m not sure MTK Droid Tools is 100% compatible with MTK6592 phones, but the process will be the same. Fix NVRAM Err = 0x10 And Random MAC Address!
More than a few China phone MTK6577, MTK6589, MTK65xx users have turned up with either NVRAM Err = 0x10, or NVRAM Err = 0x04. Other users may also need to change their MAC address because more than one device has the same MAC address and it’s creating a conflict on the wifi network. (more…) -

We’ve now come across a new root method that is compatible with a whopping 122 MTK phones and should work with many others, as many MTK phones use ported and similar ROMs. This Graphical Auto-Root is also compatible with MTK6575, MTK6577 and most likely older versions of MTK chipset as well.
