Enable root permissions
Next go to Settings > Fingerprint and security > Root permission > Enter your Flyme account password to confirm you understand the implications of root.
Download root checker
Next, download Root Checker from Play or open any app that requires root. You should get a popup asking to confirm root access for that app.
Install SuperSU root Meizu M3 Note
If you prefer to use SuperSU after enabling root, and root is confirmed by Root Checker, you should then be able to install SuperSU in just a few simple steps.
- Search Google Play Store for “SuperSU” and install.
- You should now have SuperSU control app in your app drawer and/or on the homescreen. Go ahead and open it.
- When SuperSU control app opens, you should see a notification popup asking you to update the binary. Go ahead and select ‘Continue’, then ‘Normal’.
- After waiting for 30 seconds or less, you should then see a message that tells you the operation has been completed successfully and to reboot your phone.
