Amoi Big V / N821 Released With Android 4.1 Jelly Bean!
As announced recently, Amoi has been working on Jelly Bean 4.1 ROM for the Big V. Not only does the new Amoi Big V have an IPS LCD, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean has been completed and will be included in the upgrade mix. It’s version number has changed as well – from Amoi N820 to Amoi N821. Anyone who may be interested in the Amoi Big V, make sure from the vendor it’s the N821 version.
Though Amoi has failed to attract much interest outside the Chinese market, I find their business model refreshing compared to the frustrating holdups with Newman and JiaYu / JaiYu. This is a company that knows how to get things done and is consistently upgrading, making good on their announcements in a timely manner, and offering their product in mass quantities.

Hi guys, just to let you know, I sent an email to Etotalk from whom I have purchased Amoi N821 asking about the Jelly Bean upgrade. Apparently the upgrade is not stable, here is the reply i got: “After our testing, Jelly Bean is not stable at the moment. If there is a stable version JB, we will provide a tutorial to help you install it.”
