Seagate releases worlds largest capacity portable hard drive
Seagate is now the manufacturer of the highest capacity portable external storage hard drive available.
The Backup Plus Portable carries a Seagate Barracuda 5TB drive, and incredibly is only 20.5mm (.78″) at its thickest point.
The Backup Plus Portable supports macOS if you’ve got an NTFS driver installed, and Windows.
Transfer speeds can push up to 140MB/s and with 5TB storage can store 600 hours of HD video, according to Seagate.
The Backup Plus will be shipping later in November and can be purchased for $190 in red, silver, black or blue.
